The United Arab Emirates based strategic communications agency, Manara Global, has hired Downing Street’s Chief Press Officer, Natasha Moor, to the role of Senior Advisor.

Natasha joins the agency after working at 10 Downing Street for over four and a half years advising two Prime Ministers – Theresa May and Boris Johnson.

As Chief Press Officer in the UK Prime Minister’s Office, Natasha worked on national public service issues, including health, education and culture, including a leading role in the UK’s Covid-19 response. In this role, Natasha developed major announcements and led key domestic and international visits, including the G20 held in Osaka in 2019. In addition to advising the Prime Minister on media and communications, Natasha worked closely with other Government departments on their communication strategies, identifying and mitigating against risks and advising on their planned activities to shape their coverage.

With over a decade’s experience working for the UK Government and in Parliament, Natasha joins Manara Global to support clients to define their purpose, build and enhance their reputation, and create their long-term communication strategies.

At Manara Global, Natasha joins former Downing Street communications strategist Robin Gordon-Farleigh who co-founded the UAE based agency with former Freuds Partner Teri O’Donnell.

Natasha joins Manara Global as the agency marks its third birthday. Headquartered in the UAE, the agency has experienced sustained growth since its inception supporting its clients across the Middle East region, Africa, and, increasingly the UK. Since the start of the year, the agency has made a series of hires, including bolstering its senior team to add to its advisory work.

Previously to working at 10 Downing Street, Natasha has worked in media and communications roles in the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Justice. Before entering central Government, Natasha worked in the UK Parliament as a Senior Parliamentary Researcher.
