Partnership sees Dettol provide 10,000 free online consultations to consumers on the Altibbi digital platform.

Middle East – Dettol and Altibbi – the leading digital health platform in the Arab world, have joined forces to raise awareness and help better educate the public around the importance of hygiene habits in the UAE, KSA and Egypt during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Altibbi has a community that includes more than 80 million visitors annually, 25,000 verified doctors and 3.5 million registered users. The joint partnership will provide the public with on-demand access to reliable healthcare content, 24/7 teleconsultations with leading health care professionals and solutions to better manage their health and wellbeing during these uncertain times with high accessibility through web, app and phone.

In addition, Dettol will be providing 10,000 free online consultations to consumers in the region with the aim to further support the public with reliable information in the moments that matter.

Bart Meermans, SVP for Africa, Middle East & Turkey, RB Health, commented: “These are challenging times, the spread of coronavirus has brought a lot of change to the way we live and work, thus providing the right information to the public and championing health has never been more important as it is today. We are delighted to partner with Altibbi – to further support consumers on the digital platform with trusted information during these unprecedented times.”

Jalil Allabadi, CEO of Altibbi said: “We are excited to join forces with Dettol on this wellbeing initiative and support the public at such a crucial time in our lives.  Individuals are currently overwhelmed with the amount of misinformation on the pandemic that is being presented to them, both online and offline. With Dettol on board, we hope to curate even more educational content, so consumers feel in control and assured they are making the right choices when it comes to better hygiene and their overall wellbeing.”

The partnership joins the commitments made by Dettol’s holding company Reckitt Benckiser to support the global fight against Covid-19 with its RB Fight for Access Fund.
