Bayer Launches Recruitment Drive In Saudi Arabia Supporting Continued Growth Of Healthcare Sector And Saudization Goals
- German multinational creates employment opportunities for young Saudis in the delivery of Science for a Better Life
- #MoveForwardwithBayer campaign supports Vision 2030 goals including employment creation for Saudi nationals and economic diversification
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 5 April 2020 – Bayer, the German multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences company, has today launched a focused campaign (#MoveForwardwithBayer) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, designed to drive the recruitment of Saudi nationals within its growing pharmaceutical business in the region.
The digitally-led campaign is designed to appeal to pharamaceutical graduates, with a dedicated micro-site and animated characters, Mouna and Youssef, helping in bringing it to life. By 2021, the company aims to recruit over 140 additional team members within its Pharmaceuticals division for prescription-based medicinesand its over-the-counter Consumer Health division, specifically recruiting for the roles of Product Specialists and Medical Sales Representatives.
The Move Forward with Bayer campaign is aligned with the broader initiatives of the Government of Saudi Arabia to nationalise its workforce in key industries, driving the diversification beyond oil and the Saudization of both public and private sector employees. The goals are also supportive of the country’s Vision 2030 national strategy as it aims to create a vibrant society, a thriving economy and an ambitious nation.
