Caught Off-Duty: SQUATWOLF takes its athletes into the interrogation room
The Dubai-born performance wear brand trades a conventional product reveal for surveillance footage, interrogation rooms and a case file on athletes who can’t stay off duty
10 October 2026, Dubai, UAE: Dubai-born performance wear brand SQUATWOLF is taking a different approach to the launch of their Off-Duty collection, replacing a conventional product-led rollout with a mystery campaign that places members of its athlete community under surveillance.

Built around the idea that discipline doesn’t clock out, the campaign explores a familiar truth within the fitness community: for dedicated athletes, training isn’t confined to the gym or a fixed routine. It follows them everywhere, even when they’re supposed to be taking time off.
Rather than leading with the collection itself, SQUATWOLF developed a mystery-led narrative around athletes being caught training in unexpected situations, opening with a teaser featuring four athletes held in separate interrogation rooms, each facing questions about their activities while supposedly off-duty. Surveillance style footage, urban backdrops and a deliberately unresolved storyline built intrigue ahead of the official reveal.
The Off-Duty collection extends the same thinking into everyday apparel, introducing cotton essentials designed to move between training, travel and daily life. Featuring fleece sets, track sets, tanks and t-shirts, the collection comes in a muted palette of Fired Brick, Birch, Moon Rock and Asphalt, with versatile pieces designed to transition effortlessly between the gym and everyday life.
Omar Kamali, Creative lead at SQUATWOLF, said: “There’s been a huge amount of energy behind this campaign, and a lot of creative minds have contributed to bringing it to life. What we wanted to show is something our community already knows about itself: training isn’t something you clock in and out of. Off-Duty is us catching our own athletes doing exactly that, wherever they happen to be.”
The campaign reinforces SQUATWOLF’s position as a brand built entirely around training, based on the understanding that for its community, training never really stops – wherever the day, or the holiday, takes them. By turning this mindset into the foundation of its creative narrative, SQUATWOLF brings the idea to life through an innovative storytelling approach that moves beyond a traditional product launch.
Founded in a small Dubai apartment a decade ago, SQUATWOLF has since developed into an international performance wear business with a growing e-commerce, wholesale and physical retail footprint.
The complete Off-Duty campaign and collection were officially revealed on 8 October 2026
