Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 28th April 2025: Theatre of Digital Art (TODA), Dubai’s groundbreaking cultural space located at Souk Madinat Jumeirah, is thrilled to announce that it is now officially open. After a transformative renovation, TODA is set to usher in a new era of immersive art experiences, blending the finest classical works with state-of-the-art digital technology to offer visitors an unparalleled multisensory journey.

The newly revamped venue features a modernised main auditorium and a stunning, independent foyer area – a space designed to display immersive screens and digital art by international artists. The foyer is no longer just a waiting area but a destination of its own, showcasing exclusive visual works by Neuro Art, Lindsay Kokoska and Kristina Sidorova.

With a packed lineup of events, TODA will host a variety of performances, exhibits and immersive experiences throughout the month of May, bringing together the best of art, culture and technology.

At the heart of the iconic Madinat Jumeirah Resort, Souk Madinat Jumeirah recreates the traditional Middle Eastern marketplace through distinct architecture and shopping stands, barrows and stalls. The destination is home to over 20 restaurants and cafés serving cuisines from across the globe, with most eateries providing picture-perfect views of the Arabian architecture, meandering waterways or the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.

Digital Shows

  • Art Masters Nights – Art Dubai Special Edition (5th, 12th,18th, 19th, 26th and 29th May, selected showtimes) – A 360° digital journey through the works of Van Gogh, Monet, Kandinsky, and Klimt.

Family & Kids

  • The Fixies: Tech it Easy! (3rd, 10th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 30th and 31st May, selected times) – A tech-themed family adventure with screenings, meet & greets, and workshops for kids aged 4–10.
  • Kids & Classics: Goldilocks & The Three Bears (25th May at 11 AM) – A family-friendly concert merging classical music with storytelling.

Wellness

  • Immersive Yoga with Seetal: Mind, Body, Core (3rd and 17th May at 10 AM) – A dynamic yoga and core session for all levels, guided by Seetal in a 360° immersive space.
  • 9D Breathwork Meditation (8th and 22nd May at 8 PM) – A transformative breathwork session combining audio, visuals and guided healing in a fully immersive setting.

Performances

  • Music Journey to the Balkans (3rd May at 8 PM) – A vibrant concert celebrating Balkan music, led by violinist Snezana Ivkovic.
  • Жила-Была Сыроежка (Russian-language) (4th May 4 11 AM) – A heartwarming children’s musical with immersive visuals.
  • Lebanese Music Night (9th May at 8 PM) – A tribute to Fairuz, Wadih El Safi, and other Lebanese legends by Majd Khattar and his band.
  • Kvartirnik (10th May at 8 PM) – Nostalgic Russian songs reimagined in jazz and bossa nova.
  • Jazz Night with Mert (16th May at 8 PM) – Turkish jazz vocalist Mert Saim Senyerli returns with reimagined hits and a live band.
  • Gypsy Fire Through the Cultures (17th May at 8 PM) – A global celebration of Gypsy music and dance.
  • The Echoes of Japan (23rd May  at 8 PM) – Traditional Japanese instruments meet modern melodies in a powerful live performance.
  • Rachmaninoff & Beyond by UAE Philharmonic Orchestra (24th May at 8 PM) – A bold classical concert exploring Rachmaninoff’s influence on modern music.
  • Immersive Tango Night with LaRudche (25th May at 8 PM) – A sultry, live tango show in celebration of Argentina’s national day.
  • The Jazz Night with Olesia Glants & Big Band (30th May at 8 PM) – A glamorous evening of jazz, swing, and pop hits reimagined.
  • “My Letter to Broadway” by Roy El Khouri (31st May  at 8 PM) – A musical theatre performance filled with Broadway and Disney favourites.

TODA’s Foyer will host special experiences, offering visitors unique artistic moments beyond the main stage, including live lectures and digital art displays that create an evolving cultural journey. TODA has also partnered with renowned chef bartender Alexey Dubovik to create a new signature cocktail menu that’s inspired by the venue’s artistic vision. The menu offers curated creations like Modern Classics, Aperitif Cocktails and Art’s Touch – cocktails that are infused with creativity and inspired by artists like Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo and Banksy.
