TikTok Introduces New Digital Series To Support Surge Of Online Educational Content

Dubai, UAE – February 23, 2021: TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile video has launched a new live series to support the recent surge in educational content on the platform and encourage users to learn through TikTok. Building on the increasing popularity of educational content on the platform, TikTok is hosting live sessions every week starting 25th February 2021, during which popular regional celebrities and influencers will collaborate with TikTok creators in educating users on topics such as beauty, food, fitness, and music.
In 2020, with the onset of the pandemic, TikTok witnessed a shift in the way creators consume and create content on the platform, with knowledge sharing and education seeing a massive growth of 300%. As a result, a new learning trend emerged as the fully immersed, tech savvy TikTok community seeks life coaching tips, photography tricks and even learn new languages through 15 to 60 second TikToks. The educational challenge which goes by the name #LearnOnTikTok has garnered over 66 billion views to date.

Each episode of the weekly live show will be divided into 3-4 segments which will be recorded from a specially designed #LearnOnTikTok studio and hosted by Mahira Abdel Aziz, who is a presenter on Al Arabiya TV. Popular regional celebrities and influencers such as Azza Zarour, Nael Abu Alteen, Manal Rostom and Haifa Beseisso will lead these weekly sessions and educate the audience on a range of popular topics.
