UAE, 10 October, 2022: Following a successful first year for The Marketing Society’s Scholarship Programme in partnership with TikTok, the Society is delighted to announce that applications are now open for the 2023 course – an initiative created to champion future talent and help accelerate the careers of high potential marketers in the UAE.
Over the past year, the programme provided 50 young marketeers from the UAE access to thought leadership content, tailored webinars, select events, mentoring opportunities and development training from the TikTok and Marketing Society communities. Next year, the programme will take a more intense approach, taking place over a six-month period from January to June, again offering 50 Scholars the chance to build their marketing and leadership capabilities.
The scholarship is open to Emiratis and residents of the UAE with fewer than five years’ experience in either the marketing, advertising, communications, or PR industries, whether client-side, from an agency or consultancy, or from a media house.
Do you know of any risk takers that are bursting with creativity and endless ideas? Do you know any marketers who are future stars of the industry? Or someone who uses initiative and delivers results for their clients day in day out? Have these future leaders excelled in their career to date, been involved in projects that exceeded expectations and demonstrated a drive that sets them apart from their peers? Then nominate them today.
Nominations are open and can be submitted here before October 31, 2022 https://www.marketingsociety.com/news/marketing-society-uae-scholarship. Marketeers can also apply directly themselves.
Alasdair Hall-Jones, Global Director, The Marketing Society said “The first year of the Scholarship has exceeded expectations and we’ve been delighted by the 2022 class. Seeing the Scholars build their capabilities, confidence and leadership skills is what this course is all about and we’ve been extremely proud that many have received promotions and industry accolades throughout the year. We’re excited to see the calibre of the 2023 applicants and to continue to help raise the quality of the marketing industry in the UAE and wider region.
The list of the scholarships will be announced in early December. For more information, please get in touch with Alasdair Hall-Jones – alasdair@marketingsociety.com
