Ahlan Simsim is an Arabic co-production of Sesame Street that premiered in February 2020 in the Middle East. The show is part of a broader humanitarian program between Sesame Workshop and the International Rescue Committee (IRC), which aims to deliver early learning and nurturing care to children and caregivers affected by displacement. 

In her role, Dina will oversee the marketing activities of Ahlan Simsim across the region, with the objective of building brand awareness, embedding the show in the Middle Eastern culture and developing brand partnerships and collaborations.

Dina has more than 10 years of marketing experience in the Middle East. Her background ranges from working in some of the most highly regarded advertising agencies to managing communication and marketing strategies for local, regional and international brands. Over the past few years, Dina’s work has been more focused on the leisure and entertainment industry. Her deep love of the arts led her to take on the role as Marketing Director at La Perle, launching the region’s first resident show, in partnership with the legendary Franco Dragone. Her most recent role was heading the regional Marketing Department for BOUNCE, one of the world’s leading indoor trampoline playground facilities.
