Digital licensing, education and multifunction workspace community launched earlier this year  

OSN, the region’s leading entertainment network, is bringing ASLI to this year’s Comic Con, the Middle East’s largest pop culture festival, from Thursday to Saturday, April 5 to 7, 2018, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

ASLI, meaning ‘native’ or ‘the real deal’ in many of the region’s languages, is the Middle East and North African region’s first digital licensing, education and multifunction workspace ecosystem for short and medium form content. It gives regional content creators an opportunity to produce and broadcast their original English and Arabic work alongside world-class content on OSN’s online streaming entertainment service, ‘WAVO’.

At Comic Con, ASLI will have an “ASLI Lounge”- a space for budding content creators to network, learn, collaborate and meet Team ASLI. A Creative Couch (ASLI’s educational arm) workshop on Friday, April 6 at 2pm will also provide creatives with valuable insights into licensing, intellectual property and commercializing creativity. And in true Comic Con fashion, expect to see ASLI members in cosplay!
