Riyadh, KSA – October 8, 2025 — Google has announced the rollout of AI Mode in Google Search in 36 new languages, including Arabic, across more than 200 countries and territories. AI Mode represents Google’s most advanced AI-powered search experience to date, designed to better understand user intent and deliver more relevant, context-aware results—whether users are searching for products, planning a trip, or exploring a new topic.

Powered by Gemini 2.5’s advanced reasoning, analytical, and multimodal capabilities, AI Mode can assist with even the most complex queries. Users can also engage in deeper exploration through follow-up questions. For example, one might ask: “I’m looking to understand different coffee brewing methods. Make a table comparing the differences in taste, ease of use, and equipment needed,” and then continue with a follow-up such as, “What’s the best grind size for each method?”

Users can interact with AI Mode in multiple ways – typing, speaking, snapping a photo, or uploading an image to continue their search journey. The feature appears as a dedicated tab on the Search results page and within the Google app on both Android and iOS devices.

AI Mode first launched in English across the Middle East and North Africa in August 2025. Insights from regions where AI Mode is already available indicate that early users are submitting queries two to three times longer than traditional search inputs, reflecting deeper engagement and exploration.

At the core of AI Mode is Google’s query fan-out technique, which breaks down complex questions into subtopics and issues multiple simultaneous searches. This enables Search to dive deeper into the web, uncovering a broader and richer array of relevant information and helping users discover high-quality, hyper-relevant content.

Google remains committed to ensuring that Search continues to provide access to information and perspectives from diverse sources, even as AI capabilities evolve. Data from features such as AI Overviews show that users who interact with them visit a greater diversity of websites when researching complex topics and that these visits are more meaningful, with users demonstrating higher engagement once they reach a site.

With the introduction of AI Mode in Arabic, Google continues to expand its mission of organizing the world’s information and making it universally accessible and useful—now with the added intelligence of AI.
