Abu Dhabi, 27 September 2024: Global technology group e& celebrated a milestone achievement as they took over Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium in the club’s win against Brentford and enhanced the matchday experience for thousands of fans through exciting activities that centred around high-speed football moments.

For the first time, dynamic LEDs around the stadium were displayed with Man City players’ shots immediately recorded and shown to fans inside the stadium. It included a 31 mph thunderbolt shot from star strike Erling Haaland who had struck both goals in City’s 2-1 win.

As well as a dedicated Fan Zone in Manchester, City Football Schools’ young players walked out City’s stars onto the pitch wearing e& jerseys where the centre circle of the pitch was displayed with e&’s logo and a message around high speed moments.

City fans in Abu Dhabi, who watched the action unfold in a live public screening at City Challenge in Yas Mall, were also involved in the matchday experience as they took on supporters in Manchester in an interactive half-time quiz – the first time held by the club.

More than 1,000 fans took part where questions were focused on the club’s history with winners getting their hands on exciting prizes.
