It is no surprise that the company has recently decided to accelerate the development and introduction of AI-based technologies. While chatGPT may have played a role in generating interest and excitement about the potential of these technologies, It is not accurate to say that Google’s recent decision to accelerate the development of AI-based technologies was solely due to chatGPT. Instead, the company’s efforts in this area are driven by a variety of factors, including a desire to improve existing products and services and to explore new applications and opportunities. As a leader in the tech industry, Google is committed to staying at the forefront of AI development and will continue to invest in and advance these technologies.
It is unlikely that chatGPT, a chatbot trained on a large dataset of text, will surpass or replace Google Search in the near future. While chatGPT has the ability to generate human-like responses to a wide range of questions and prompts, it is not designed to function as a comprehensive search engine like Google.
